I Am But a Seed

Aimless, waltzing on wind
I am but a seed
Waiting to begin

Grassy expanse beneath
the heartbeat wings
Carrying me

"Let me go, I say"
right here is the
Perfect place

I am but a seed
inside me there
Are plenty

Enough for the world
slowly but surely
I unfold

Behold

I am but a seed
of kindness,
congeniality

Bloom where I am planted
suddenly beauty, joy
a field enchanted

Though I am but one,
spread me like a smile
Good work is never done
