St Petian Magazine began as a lighthearted debate between referring to individuals who live in St. Petersburg, FL as 'Burgers or St Petians. Through a developing drive to publish a community-centric magazine and a spontaneous dive into cultural anthropology, the idea morphed from a title to an ethnography: a description of a group of people's customs and culture.Read More
Celebrating the Feminine Mystique is a fundraiser for Mahila Partnership, a grassroots organization investing in women and girls. Held on the rooftop at Station House in St Petersburg, Florida, this event features; a curated art show, Tampa Bay local business-sponsored silent auction, delicious food and drinks, live music featuring Geri X, and a forum to raise awareness for the importance of menstrual health and hygiene as a component of gender equality.Read More
Wrote, designed, provided graphic design and photography, and published for Mahila Partnership. This PDF booklet was delivered to each of our donors, supporters, volunteers, and team members.
In partnership with the California Department of Public Health, I served as creative director on their 2016 Disaster Preparedness PSA Video + Executive Toolkit project.
Side note: When the videographer ghosted our team and left us with nothing but raw footage, I stepped in to edit and produce the film on my own.
